How to arrange your books

So you are done with reading that book and you think you will not have recourse to it again, well you are wrong because sooner than later you will need it.

Books are just like those old dresses we were done with hence kept away; when we reach out for them again they look so new and refreshing.

Iam going to share with you the secrets to keeping those printed matters in good condition. Who knows you might one day be the only one with such information. Seriously your preserved books could become the only information source in addition to being of a benefit to your generation to come.

Books are arranged better in book shelves though some people may choose to store their books in boxes but except you are relocating i do not recommend you put your books in boxes this is because;

They can be squeezed out of form
Some book colours can bleed out of temperature rise while in enclosures.

I recommend you first sort your books according to nature(genre). For instance history/bibliography,cook books, fictions encyclopeadia etc .This is further sorted into sizes. Some people may choose to sort their books according to colours. It all depends on what you want to achieve.

Bookshelves can be both standing or wall hinged.The wall hinged are my favourite .They are best for children's bedrooms.Arrange the books as you have sorted them.

Books of same genre should be placed according to size . With the largest at the bottom- titled narrow side(spinx) facing out-this will make for easy identification.

One snag about this arrangement is that it becomes difficult to remove when you need to. But then you have to sweat a little for what you want-just a little.

If you still have space left after arranging your books you can place ornaments accordingly.

Remember to dust your books form to time to prevent build up of dirts.

You may have your own easy way of arranging your books . Just thought I should share mine.
